Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We operate our own internal delivery fleet for West Malaysia deliveries and partner with specialized courier services to safely transport liquid cargo to East Malaysia.

Please review our shipping and legal guidelines below.

1. Legal Delivery Requirements (Age 21+)

In compliance with Malaysian law, we only sell and deliver alcohol to non-Muslim individuals aged 21 years and above.

  • ID Verification: Delivery riders and couriers are legally required to verify the recipient’s age upon arrival. Please ensure a valid photo ID (MyKad or Passport) is available for inspection.

  • Refusal of Delivery: If the recipient is unable to prove they are 21+ or is a Muslim individual, the order cannot legally be handed over. The order will be returned to our warehouse, and redelivery or restocking fees will apply.

2. Delivery Zones, Rates & Timelines

We deliver across both West and East Malaysia. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and total order weight.

  • Klang Valley (KL & Selangor)

    • Fulfillment Method: In-House Fleet

    • Estimated Delivery: 1 to 2 Working Days

  • Other West Malaysia States

    • Fulfillment Method: In-House Fleet / Local Courier

    • Estimated Delivery: 3 to 5 Working Days

  • East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak)

    • Fulfillment Method: Third-Party Air Cargo (Liquid Safe)

    • Estimated Delivery: 5 to 9 Working Days

    • Base Delivery Fee: [RM 40.00] (calculated by weight)

    • Free Shipping Threshold: [Not Available / Free over RM 500]

East Malaysia Notice: Due to strict aviation regulations regarding liquids and flammable goods, alcohol shipments to Sabah and Sarawak require specialized air-freight handling. Delivery times may occasionally vary due to customs clearance or flight schedules.

3. Delivery Schedule & Tracking

  • West Malaysia (Our Fleet): Our internal fleet operates from [10:00 AM to 7:00 PM], [Monday to Saturday]. We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays. Our rider will typically call or WhatsApp you shortly before arrival to ensure someone is home to accept the order.

  • East Malaysia (Courier): Once your order is handed over to our air cargo partner, a tracking number will be emailed to you so you can follow its progress through customs to your door.

4. Failed Delivery Attempts & Redelivery

If a delivery cannot be completed because no one is home, no valid ID can be produced, or the location is inaccessible:

  • West Malaysia: The order will return to our central hub. A flat redelivery fee of [RM 15.00] will be charged to schedule a second attempt.

  • East Malaysia: The courier will make up to [2] attempts before holding the parcel at their local depot for self-collection. Uncollected parcels returned to West Malaysia will forfeit the initial shipping fee, and a [15%] restocking fee will apply to the remaining refund.

5. Liquid Cargo Insurance & Transit Damages

Alcohol bottles are fragile. While we pack all East Malaysia orders in heavy-duty, impact-resistant transit packaging, please follow these steps if damage occurs:

  1. For West Malaysia: Please inspect the items immediately with our fleet rider. Report any breakages or incorrect items on the spot.

  2. For East Malaysia: Before signing for the courier, check for signs of leakage or damp packaging. If damaged, take photos before opening the box.

  3. Reporting: Contact our support team at enquiry@asiastaralliance.com or call us at +6011-56209883 within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or issue a refund for verified transit damages.
