Lamborghini Trescone Umbria Rosso Igt [750ml]

This red IGT produced in Umbria was named for a traditional dance performed during the harvest and represents the more youthful wine of the estate. It is produced from Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is obtained from grapes grown in the area of Panicale in Umbria.

The vineyards were planted in the early 1970’s with the exception of the Merlot vines which were planted in 1997.

The fruit underwent maceration for fifteen days allowing for the necessary skin contact and was followed by the primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

The wine was placed in French oak tonneaux for four months prior to bottling and rests another six months in the bottle.
